This is a pewter, solid pewter handle, 1 1/8" diameter, 4 Point Celtic Knot Wax Seal Stamp. This stamp is shallow in that it uses very little wax and makes fine ink seals too. Made for wax seals and works well for ink too. It is wonderful ancient Celtic design seal. The Celtic knot is a symbol of life and its 4 stages: birth, maturity, death and afterlife. This knot is similar to the cross having four points. Also always remember before sealing wax always lightly oil (olive or cooking oil) the stamp. It is also wonderful for using with an ink pad for paper ink seals. Handle is solid pewter and stands apx 3" tall.
